Loneliness and isolation are significant issues affecting many people, often leading to negative impacts on both their mental and physical health. As people age, factors such as the loss of loved ones, reduced mobility, and living alone can contribute to a sense of social disconnection.
Our Befriending Service is designed to prevent loneliness and ensure that no one feels alone or forgotten. We're here to offer support in whatever way you're most comfortable—whether it's face-to-face, over the phone, online, through WhatsApp, by letter, or another method. Our dedicated and compassionate volunteers are ready to be there for you when you need them.
